Keen to get your foot on the ladder of career success within the travel industry? This may just be your perfect starting point. We are looking for a dynamic "support act" who will assist the rest of the team by helping out with key admin tasks - and there is a lot of scope for growth.

The position is as varied as the beautiful region within which we operate, but include the following:

- Assisting with enquiries and reservations at our sister lodge, Starry Starry Night
- Making provisional reservations for travel itineraries and helping with itinerary outlines
- Creating goodie bags and welcome cards for our guests
- Arranging printed itineraries and delivering these to our hotel partners
- Creating guest invoices and administering payments      

- Managing the booking calendar and payment sheets for our drivers and guides  

Our ideal shopping list of skills

- Excellent English language skills (written and spoken)

- Passionate about travel and adventure

- Great organisational and admin skills

- Excellent attention to detail
- Work experience: minimum 2 years

- Any experience in travel a major bonus

- Tertiary education

- Driven for success and achieving goals

- Loves being in a team and play nicely together

- Great writing and communication skills

- Outgoing and warm personality

- Great and personable phone manner for dealing directly with guests

- Experience with MS Office compulsory

- Strong computer literacy (ideally on Mac)

- A heart for adventure and extraordinary experiences

What do we do ?

We design beautifully tailored holidays for international guests who want to discover Southern and Eastern Africa and the Indian Ocean islands . We take time to get to know our guests, and to understand what their dream trip looks like – then we make that come true. To do that we use all our skill and creativity and we go well beyond what is expected. We take great pride in how detailed our itineraries are and how much love we put into creating them, and we never just slap something together.

This position is perfectly suited for somebody with solid junior experience in the industry, and with great ambition. As a relatively young company we can offer you the opportunity to be exposed to various different elements of the industry, and there is a really chance to spread your wings and grow as the company grows. 

Salary

Based on skills and experience, and above market related. Also, we have fantastic incentives and profit share schemes in place which very simply means – the more you put in, the more you will get out. As a young company, there is lots of opportunity for you to grow and prosper.
