Travel back in time as you saddle up to explore some of the Karoo’s most scenic landscapes and sleepiest villages before tracking cheetahs on foot.
Your adventure starts and finishes in Graaf-Reinet, the jewel of the Great Karoo. From this beautiful town with its wealth of Victoria architecture you will saddle up your mountain bike and travel by backroads to Nieu-Bethesda
taking in the vastness of the Karoo and admiring spectacular sunsets on your 5-day cycle tour. Nieu-Bethesda is a gorgeous hamlet renowned for its off-beat and creative soul, here you will go on a fossil hunt with local expert JP Steynberg, visit the famous Owl House, enjoy beer and cheese at the Three Goat Deli and wander through local galleries.
After returning to Graaf-Reinet, you will head to a 2-night all-inclusive safari, where you will be tracking cheetah on foot and learning more about local conservation efforts.
