We want to hear from you if…

- You are a self-motivated, autonomous and fiery professional working in travel or sales and who speaks fluent English and/or French. 

- You have 2+ years working experience in the travel industry or in sales. Any experience designing itineraries, and a good knowledge of Southern and Eastern Africa and the Indian Ocean islands puts you at the top of the pile. 

- You are crazy passionate about travelling and dream about discovering beautiful regions and exotic countries. We can teach you how to design a magical itinerary, but passion cannot be taught, so please make sure you have bags full of it. 

- You have a bright smile, enjoy a positive outlook on life, and are hungry to learn and grow in this exciting industry. 

- You have an understanding of what makes excellent customer service, how to put the guests’ experience before anything else and you love delivering heart-warming customer service.

Our ideal shopping list of skills

- Fluent in English and/or French

- Passionate about travel and adventure

- Work experience: minimum 2 years

- Any experience in travel and/or sales a major bonus

- Tertiary education, ideally in travel-related degree

- Driven for success and achieving goals

- Loves being in a team and play nicely together

- Detailed knowledge of SA and our markets is a massive bonus

- Great writing and communication skills

- Outgoing and warm personality

- Great organisational and admin skills

- Excellent attention to detail

- Great and personable phone manner for dealing directly with guests

- Experience with MS Office compulsory

- Experience with Wetu or other itinerary design software a big plus

- Above average computer literacy, ideally on Mac

- Experience with social media and/or video and photo editing a bonus

- A heart for adventure and extraordinary experiences

What do we do ?

We design beautifully tailored holidays for international guests who want to discover Southern and Eastern Africa and the Indian Ocean islands . We take time to get to know our guests, and to understand what their dream trip looks like – then we make that come true. To do that we use all our skill and creativity and we go well beyond what is expected. We take great pride in how detailed our itineraries are and how much love we put into creating them, and we never just slap something together.

This position is perfectly suited for somebody with solid junior experience in the industry, and with great ambition. As a relatively young company we can offer you the opportunity to be exposed to various different elements of the industry, and there is a really chance to spread your wings and grow as the company grows. 

Salary

Based on skills and experience, and above market related. Also, we have fantastic incentives and profit share schemes in place which very simply means – the more you put in, the more you will get out. As a young company, there is lots of opportunity for you to grow and prosper.
