Today we salute the dedicated, fearless and passionate ladies who work to keep our animals safe on this, the very first World Female Ranger Day.
We say thanks to groups like Black Mambas, an anti-poaching unit in Balule Nature Reserve who are committed to protecting our endangered rhino population. The Travel Cafe guests have loved spending time with this unique group to learn more about their day-by-day experience and challenges.
And we say thank you to individuals like Octavia Makhubele and Agnesia Makgotla, who fly in helicopters and criss-cross the land to assist animals in need, not to mention hundreds other female rangers...
Thank you for your tireless work ladies, from us at The Travel Cafe, and also on behalf of our wild animals. Your passion for your work shines through everything you do.
